Mine from the same batch are gorgeous and my black pullet was almost a bully when I added three younger pullets to their pen. Out of eight I have only four left. I gave four away,,,, mine are two splash and two BLRs and one of those is a beautiful splash BLR. I do not think that they will be laying for another month and will not have a rooster until early nex year.How old are they now? I think mine are a couple of weeks younger than yours. I'm anxious for them to start laying.
birdmaniac Your silkie NN needs a NN rooster. If she did have a nn she would have some offsprings with nn but not all. Since she did not inherit the gene (she would be nn if she did) You know genes come in pairs and the birds with no feather on their necks or very samll amount have two copies while the birds with big bow ties have only one copy. NN roosters in general are more quiet than other roosters and not ususally very agressive.
