@Sullys Island Farm I am still working with these but I decided I need to make my Turken Line a bit stronger and really be more selective about my Polish Roos so I'm starting back working with them (turken) next year. I'm still at F2, I had a large loss from a predator and lost my best Roos and hens :/. Major setback. I wasn't totally happy with the loss of size with these guys as I worked really hard to get my Turkens big over 5 years, which was another setback to me. I'm not sure if there will be a good balance---I'm rethinking it.

Yours are STUNNING. I'm particularly in love with your white one---may I ask what you crossed to get that color?

I'm glad you year you haven't given up! But sorry about all the setbacks.

The white one is from 1/4 turken/Ameraucana mix... 1/4 gold laced polish and 1/2 silver laced polish. She will get bred to pure silver laced polish for even better crest and lacing in the next generation! The black one pictured looks really nice now that he's a little older. After the whites, he's my favorite. Oh, and I wa finally able to get a picture of the white one's brother LOL He's fast and hard to get a good picture of! The last one is my cuckoo boy... He has a beard which I don't like, but for now I have him with some gold to start on candy corn (genetically gold laced barring)
