Naked turkey poult butt

Hello! I just hatched 9 Midget White eggs last week. A couple hatched a little early and one has a naked butt! It was wet and a little swollen looking. I wasn’t sure what to do but I saw a post about using preparation H and a Vetericyn. I could get Vetericyn so I used blue kote. Has anyone every had this issue before?

It is normal for the abdomen to be swollen if a poult hatches early. The swelling is the unabsorbed egg yolk.

I don't do anything about it.

That is not what it is. After further investigation, it’s just one poult and its vent and rear end have no feathers. I believe that it’s a major birth defect. I’m thinking that it might be best to cull it.
