I passed my exam this morning!
I will take a break from studying to get outside and do some yard work.
I will not waste too much time with my chicks...although looking at this face, who could resist?

Rehomed 4 1/2 dozen eggs, 2 cauliflower plants and 2 cabbage plants.

Returned home from our mini vacation to Foxwoods Casino.
Filled bird feeders at home.
Went to the club and filled bird feeders. Wood frogs are 'quacking' away, but no egg masses yet.

I cover my cherry trees with bird netting or I wouldn't get any cherries. The birds love them.

I had a few apples set last year but the little birds ate them long before they would have been ripe.

Oh, Cherries is precious fruits. Netting for the apple trees.

My initial growing good in my backyard was that....yes, I will share it with the insects, wild birds..etc... then they eat it all.

Planning to spend all day in the garden - cleaning up and replanting

Plant turmeric and ginger plants in chicken runs - trick is to cover it well enough so chickens do not dig them up.

I moved my aggressive rooster and his two mean wives to another coop so I could have their pen as a retirement home for the older girls.

I did a load of laundry.
I crushed up all the eggshells sitting on the counter.
