Hunted bugs (115 Japanese Beetles for the chickens today!)

One of the things I love about here is that i have never seen a Japanese Beetle or a cicada since I moved here.

Picked more peas...bags full
Shelled peas and filled ten quart freezer bags

Let the chickens out
Go for a walk
Maybe shell more peas...my fingers are green

I don't mind the shelling, but we went on vacation and came back to...way too many. Store-bought peas just cannot compare, they are like mush.

The only way I eat peas is straight out of the pod while in the garden.
