I picked some ripe and almost ripe tomatoes. I had enough to can 2 quarts. Not quite enough for a third. That's ok. In a week or so, I'll be drowning in tomatoes! I'm bailing the tomato boat as best I can for as long as I can. :)

The air stinks from the farmer spreading manure on the fields, and it's hazy with wildfire smoke. I'm not doing anything else outside other than dog walks and visiting the chickens.

So the tomatoes are all I'm doing today.

Tried it once. It is a hybrid and as expected the saved seeds produced tomatoes that were nothing like the original. There were some interesting varieties but I want the original which is the best cold climate, short season tomato ever developed along with being very hardy and disease resistant.
 
Vacuumed all the rugs and floors.

Made another Cinnamon Crumb bread.

Finally finished the afghan I was working on! All that's left to do is weave in the ends, throw it in the washer and dryer and then put my tag on. This is my tag.
