I landed in Zurich, then flew to Rome.
I met a Cardinal.
I saw Pope Francis lying in state in St Peter’s Basilica.

I took everything out of the "other" closet in the mudroom.
I threw out 2 ++ bags of garbage from said closet.
I will give another hen a bath tonight (Stormy or Little).
I was (VERY) pleasantly surprised at how much ammo I had stored in that closet!

Not much because it stormed and rained just about all day.
I did wash laundry (a daily chore here) and also made a pot of vegetable beef soup.
Thankful for the rain.

As the mother of an 8th grader, I wholeheartedly agree

I think the best story of the whole day was the 8th grader who brought out a hair straightener in the middle of the presentation, plugged it in, and started straightening her hair

I went to school.
I worked for my neighbor for a few hours.
