Went grocery shopping with hubby.

Went to RK bought 2 heavy duty truck batteries.

This is hatch day for the new chicks, 4 little guys are stumbling around the incubator, 6 eggs to go. (2 eggs were discarded at week 3)

I will try to purchase some new chicken clothes.
I will convince myself to cancel the Silkie chicks order?

...oh...you and I both! I accepted to buy a bantam rooster, but wanting to cancel it too.....but my fingers refuse to press the key boards to text for cancellation!

I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Our new chickens don't work out? Or they generate enough stress to give us ulcers?

I remember the recent time my chickens give me ulcers, and I also remember the endless cuteness, the laughter from looking chicken being chicken, they are too cute, too adorable and yes, too much work all bundle together

On a serious note, I should/could/ cancel the rooster...but I am not able to..well if the seller comes back with not sure answer for my query, then ...grrr...for the love of chickens..

I finally cancelled it this morning. We have a lot of coop and run renovations coming up, and I want to make sure I have enough bandwidth for my current flock AND myself. The Silkie chicks will be there for another time.

Is there something that makes this particular rooster special? Or can you delay until a better time?
