It is now 6:50pm Sunday over here. Feather kids are in their coops, dogs in their bed, I am in my coop too so 3 things I will do what left of the day are eat dinner, watch movies and shut eyes ...that last task is remain to be seen.

Change oil in DW's car
Start extracting 40 medium frames of honey

Pretty much takes care of today

I will fill the front bed with summer flowers,
I will do some step-work with my baby,
I will find motivation to do some washing...

Went to our granddaughter's baby shower. Yep, we are going to be great grandparents.

This made me smile a great big smile. (I knew about it from another thread. Smiled anyway.)

My family and I are going to church.
Then, we will come home and eat lunch and I will meal prep for my husband’s work lunches.
We will celebrate his birthday.

Cut up watermelon and tomatoes for my chickens.
Racked up grass shavings for bedding.
Burned grass shavings to add to the dirt bath.

I will bring the muppets in this afternoon to ride out the heat in their basement brooder (and test the new "chicken sand").
I will have nova lox for lunch.
I will work on their run while they're downstairs and try not to pass out. Anyone else feeling legitimately angry about this heat?
