Today I will make either yogurt or grownies. Maybe both, but probably not.
We plan to check on the bees, since it's much cooler.
Since we got a nice amount of rain (I haven't checked the rain gauge bucket yet), the weeds will come out easily, so I hope to get some weeding done.

Doing a bee chk Saturday or Sunday, low 80s and low humidity, being we're into the dearth many will be out searching. Had some heavy bearding at night during this oppressive heat the last few days.

I slept in for the first time in a while.
I want to go out for lunch (it's Ramen Thursday), but not sure if I feel up for it.
I need to wash chicken dishes, run laundry, clean toilets...

This morning, I cooked bacon and eggs with apple slices for breakfast.
Will wash laundry.
Make a Heath cake and a Banana Pudding for Saturday.
Cleaning house in between washing clothes.

We are having a Barbecue and birthday party. My husband fine-tuning his smoking skills. I know Barbecue can have different meanings depending on where one lives.
“Having a Barbecue” here means a gathering where smoked meat is served and a cookout offers grilled meat.

Today I opened the windows because it's only 67° outside. Vacuumed and folded laundry

88 round trip VA Philly for me. 50 if I go to the clinic. I avoid Philly whenever I can. I do take a shuttle that is available and it turns into a long energy sapping day. Haven't been to the Commissary in yrs. Ft Dix/ Mcguire AFB.

For Hubby his small VA clinic is 42 miles round trip. The other day he had to to the Huntsville clinic. We try not to go to the Birmingham VA it's a whopping 184 miles round trip and driving in Birmingham traffic is almost suicidal. We only go the Redstone Arsenal Commissary if we are in Huntsville area.
