It's the most difficult yet responsible thing that we as animal caretakers must do. Oct. 17 will mark 3 years since I had Miss Maggie Mae (the dog I didn't want) euthanized, and I still tear up thinking of her.

This morning, my youngest daughter and I went to her college for a meeting.
Came back and ate lunch.
Walked outside with my dogs before it started raining.
Walked again just a while ago.
It is starting to feel a little like fall, y’all.

Recipe?

Really no recipe, I just opened the Pillsbury Quick Bread box and followed the instructions. I added a couple handfuls of chopped Walnuts and White Chocolate Morsels to the mix.

My Hubby is a Meat & Potato guy, which works out good because I'm not a fancy cook.

Checked out a new (to our area) discount grocery store...

Went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart. It was nice and quiet because all the little darlings are back in school...

Put away the groceries...

Will work on my afghan, weaving yarn ends, after dinner...
