How do you store that?
With 4 qts of water to 8 qts of sugar I get 2 gallons of syrup. I need 3 gallons out of the gate so 2 batches leaves 1 gallon over that doesn't really need storage as the empties are replaced within 5/6 days. Usually keep the extra in the bee room where it is cool in the qt jars tightly capped. I don't really store long term. Some will add white distilled vinegar as inhibitor against spoilage. I don't because I go through it so fast. For what it's worth it is said in some circles Apple Cider Vinegar should be avoided, causes some kind of digestive problems if I remember.
