Went grocery shopping with the Princess. Do people leave their brains in the car when they enter a grocery store?

Judging from the people on the road that I had to deal with today, their brains certainly aren't in the car with them

I did my presentation afterwards and it went well.
I will fill out my paperwork and hopefully get to bed before 10, as I really really need it.

Checked on 7 wk old chicks, at 6:30a to make sure no noise and all survived their first night with everyone out together.

6:45a checked again, all is well
7:15 checked again, all still well

Now to plan the day, while checking on the chickens and awaiting conclave updates.

Mowed the back, 'way back', 2/3 of the West hedgerow and 1/3 of the front yard. More than I usually do in a day, but it is supposed to shower/rain all day tomorrow. I'll finish up on Saturday.

Planted pumpkin seeds, cantaloupe seeds, watermelon and cucumber seeds in the greenhouse.

Picked a nice big batch of asparagus and gave it away.

Yes, I rehome a lot of asparagus. It is very demanding. It says pick me now or I will quit and you won't get any more until next year.
