I ran to the store for syringes. They ended up being unnecessary…
I buried Sally (one of the ducks) next to Stan, the rooster.
I took a nap while the power was out from the storm that went over.

What happens today depends a lot on hubby's back. It is really bothering him today. We had planned to check the bees, but if he is still hurting as much as he was when he first got up, that will have to wait.

I need to do a load of laundry.
If hubby doesn't make salsa, I'll can the tomatoes I picked yesterday. If he makes salsa, I'll can that.

I completed three chores that I put off yesterday (feeling much better today!)
I'm sitting down to have my morning Bai and get organized.
My husband's taking the afternoon off to kickstart birthday weekend. Birthday weekend always involves some sort of manual labor for the house, chickens, or garden.

Topped off chicken feed and fresh water, folded the load of whites from last night, finally greased the lockset on the storm door, and ran to the gas station to fill gas can to mow the open space tomorrow or as I call it brush hog. Too wet today. Hey, it's only Friday, I'm a day ahead, mow tomorrow bees Sunday. But always keeping an eye out for DW's curve ball.

Back to removing nails from the lumber purchased at the May farm equipment auction.
Did a load of laundry, will fold and put it all away, but not today.
Will crochet tonight while watching TV.
