No yogurt maker. You don't need one. I've made yogurt using a cardboard box and towels to keep the jars of fermenting milk warm. Usually I use my dehydrator as the "box."

My dehydrator won't work, but I could use my toaster oven. Hmmm Do you add anything for flavor?

Honey and vanilla. Then I can put it over fruit if I want or just have it like that.

I make a gallon at a time, and culture it in quart canning jars. I drain some of the whey out so that it's nice and thick.

I add the whey to chicken feed to make the mash for their afternoon snack.

Today I will finish canning the broth I made, I will make yogurt, and make butter. Also am doing laundry
