Worked one dog and filled bird feeders at the club.
Mowed the 'way back' and remowed the top of the front lawn.
Will shower and go to a movie this afternoon.

Tried to work on the new run. Started to feel weak because of the heat and high humidity. (90° 72% humidity, feel like 95°)
(Almost two years ago I ignored feeling weak and kept working. I fell and broke my hip)

Went in and worked on the tapestry afghan with the a/c on.

I refilled the trimmer with string at least ten times.
I cleaned out an unused closet.
I kicked broody Charity off her nest. She was not happy!

I continued weeding the garden.

Made a rhubarb pie and rhubarb sauce.

Took 13,557 steps today, trying to find “Close3” who disappeared on a stormy afternoon this week.

Noticed that I haven’t posted on the Squawk thread because I don’t take many steps these days, and now I have something to post about.

Realized that Close3 never got as much attention as his big brother Junior (who is my pfp), and now his first real mate “Little Bird” has affiliated with Lav, who has the stellar reputation of losing his hens to predators.

Edit: I can’t keep my own kids straight! “Almost” was mated with “Fuzz,” and after Almost died in 2024 Fuzz spent his days in lonely sadness until he became prey earlier this year. Close3 was his older brother by ~10 days.

I watered my outside plants.
I am currently washing towels.
And I need to refill my bird feeders today.

Trouble getting these bones out of the rack this AM but still endeavoring on, little pat on my own back.
1. Put BLUE ICE and fresh water out for the birds
2. Dropped 3 qts of sugar syrup on the split. Washed the empty feeder jars and cleaned wax from the lids. (split doing nicely)
3. Sunday, my laundry day.
4. Sister in-law dropped off 300 9mm cases so I'll start prepping them for reloading. Have to have a little fun today!
