Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today

I have not made apple dumplings before, might be just skip the apple cake and go for the dumplings, it looks very good on google image. Thanks for the idea.
When I make an apple pie I have extra dough which I use to make an apple dumpling. I eat the dumpling hot out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream while the pie cools.

Even easier is to make baked apples. I like apple dumplings better.

Dry heat. The humidity in there that day was 8%.

It appears to be fine. It might be sulking since I cut the top off.
Low humidity, dry heat, it is hotter. Must be watering your garden a lot. Some years it was so hot that my fruit trees leaves just turned brown.

Your mango tree sound so funny, sulking. I am sure it is ok, it will find way to grow horizontally. We trim our like your too so it goes not grow so tall.

Thank you.
I have not eat apple dumplings before, I have not seen it in the bakery or the coffee shop here so I will make just apple dumplings for today first time ever. It looks so nice and enticing to eat.

Next time I will make apple pie and with the extra dough for apple dumpling. The dumplings look more inviting than the pie. It is very cold here, so I will most likely eat the dumpling straight from the oven like you. :drool:drool ❤️

For me, the dumplings are very simple. I peel and core an apple. Sit it in the middle of the rolled out pie crust dough already lying in a pie pan.

For people that don't have a sugar problem, I fill the core with brown sugar, dust well with cinnamon and put a dab of butter on top. Fold up the dough and seal using a little water to get it to stick in place.

For myself I fill the core with Sucralose, dust well with cinnamon and put a dab of butter on top. The rest is the same.

I stick it in the oven with the pie that has already started cooking. It ends up getting about an hour at 375°F.

In Vermont here! It was 83 today, but humid. I cleaned house 🙄 in the early part of day. My husband tended to our back yard hens and ducks. Later I checked in on my duck girl Sally who is nesting. She had one ducking hatched. I also put in my younger chicks and closed in the older hens. It has been hit and dry here so I had to water my very garden too. No big deal cooking or baking for me today.
