Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today

Went for a fancy Xray test. It tested for bone density.

Weed trimmed around the flowers and bushes near the driveway.

Just called our insurance company to let them know one of our large Oaks just split and crushed our garage and 2 of our pickups.
The tree was also a "Honey Tree". There is a huge Honey Bee hive in the tree and the Honey is dripping out. A Beekeeper is coming tonight to see what is needed to save the Bees.View attachment 4176029View attachment 4176032View attachment 4176034
Sometimes I think Mother Nature just likes to mess with us just to see what we can overcome.
That is absolute insanity! I'm glad no one was hurt, but holy cannoli.

Woke up extra early to get the nuggets back outside (and smear ointment on an eyeball again). Fingers crossed they can just stay out today. There's so much bullying/pecking order BS right now that the basement coop's split 3 ways.

I will spend the morning organizing financially.

Husband's taking the afternoon off so we can discuss how to downsize our already small flock from 7 to 4. 😞

1-Peeled approximately ten pounds of potatoes and made potato salad.
We are having a big shindig Saturday.

2-Will make two banana puddings later when it’s not too hot to use the oven.

3-Cleaning out my van to make room for tomorrow’s shopping at the mennonite market.
I hope you made enough for everyone at BYC! 😁

Potato salad is a labor of love, so I admire anyone that's willing to make it!

The potato salad wasn’t bad, but the two large pans of banana pudding and stirring the pudding constantly each time is a pain. Then, again mixing the meringue for each pan.
If anyone has ever made this or homemade fudge where you stir and stir and stir until your hand falls off, then you know what I mean.

I went for a run this morning, although I probably shouldn’t have, it was already 80° when I left…time to start going earlier in the day.

I helped make pesto and cleaned up after said pesto.

I will try and figure out my chicken situation; one of my pullets seems to have an eye problem, and my young cockerel is really making the hens he’s in with mad. He might become his name, Soup, pretty soon if he doesn’t shape up.
