Today I went to work, we had a small retirement party for my boss and now I'm trying to figure out what to do for dinner

Went for my post eye surgery check up. Everything is A-OK

Went with Hubby to Walmart, TSC, RK & Food World.
Was going to get Chicken feed at the Co-op but there was a downed power line on the street. The power line was humming, sparkling and jumping, no one was allowed down the road.

More thunderstorms and heavy rain/wind tonight.
Will watch TV with Hubby and crochet after dinner.

I put tools away in the basement.
I went for a run, threw up half way through, but managed to finish the run.
I took the coop cats to their vet appointment.

Wind and rain pretty much put the kibosh on the outdoor jobs. Caught up on inside jobs.
Good day to relax at the reloading bench.

1) clean house - mop wood floors, dust, etc.
2) run errands
3) cruise with the hubby to take in some festive Christmas lights, later

Yesterday we:
Took the day off from Christmas Prep.
Went to Pineville Tavern for a late lunch.
Went to Peddler's Village in Lahaska. Walked around looking at the decorations and had ice cream.

Lull in the rain, checked on birds
Got sugar blocks on the hives
3rd is up for grabs

Went to the Amish market.
Filled bird feeders at the beagle club - cleared falling branches from the lane on my way in and out.
Cut off the power supply to my outdoor decorations - in spite of being anchored, everything is blowing over.

Why must every weather system be accompanied with 50+ mph wind gusts?
