I washed, dried, and folded laundry; made Christmas candy and peanut butter pecan fudge; and laughed at @janiedoe ‘s memes she posted.

The plan: Making and Baking Thumbprint cookies (green and red almond icing) tomorrow.

The heavy rain/wind last night cleaned our pickup like a car wash!

Took apart our select number mattress and vacuum all the different layers. I usually do it at least twice a year.

When with Hubby to Lowes and then United Grocers. UG had Chuck Roasts for $5.99/lb, we bought 8.

Reassemble the sleep number mattress, so we'll have someplace to sleep tonight. Will crochet later.

I worked in the basement a little.
I researched things.
I started sewing but gave up after I sewed the seam backwards.

It’s been very windy here but this morning I captured a double rainbow!

Y’all have a Polish background?
My dad’s side is Polish and we’d always have that for Easter (except the mushrooms).

The Princess is Polish/Hungarian. I am German/Scottish. Our kids are stubborn free thinkers. Interestingly we have a Chinese granddaughter who really loves the kielbasa/sauerkraut. It's especially good this year- imported sauerkraut from Poland. We have a really great Polish deli about ten miles away - English is definitely a 'second' language there.

*Get ready for today scorching hot day - add ice block in feather kids water.
*Later in the evening go to the tools shop to buy a garden hat, I need it to go out in the garden this summer. It has air on the top for the brain to breath in the summer hot weather
*Get some treats and sit under the big mango tree with my chickens
