Today I'm:
● Gathering up purchases to wrap my kids' Family Christmas Baskets. My boys are grown and gone, for years. We keep it simple. I make them a basket of "my" favorite things. It's hard to come up with new, favorite things every year. This year: pajamas, slippers, my favorite hand lotion, ear-covering winter hats, bamboo wind chimes, vanilla chai tea (they all love it) and canisters with decorated lids to put it into, new salt boxes with decorated lids, their favorite freeze dried treats in mason jars and battery-operated jar sealers to keep them fresh. Little simmer packets I put together myself, Stuffed toys in the basket that goes home with my grandson's family. The grandson is getting more than just this, of course. ♡
● I'm also fire-polishing some things in my kiln that didn't get enough "gloss" in the previous cycle. ::fingers crossed::
● I'll do my usual house cleaning and chicken tending. My little Winifred is completely blind, now. So, I spend a little extra time making sure she's getting everything she needs. She seems to be doing pretty well, under the circumstances.
