Man this thread could get me into some serious trouble... LOL

I had no clue that quail could frizzle!!! That is so neat!! is it just in buttons or can coturnix carry the frizzle jean???

I have to wait until next week (I just put all my eggs into the bator) plus I have to run in town to the po to get shipping boxes... I only have a few laying right now but I should be able to come up with about 8 or so eggs to ship.

The Coturnix carry the Curly gene too. That is where I first read about the gene was in a paper about Coturnix(which are also called Japanese Quail). Here is a link to that paper if anyone is interested:

I only know of them in the UK but i dont know any breeders in the UK with them personally I just saw pictures I think they're kinda ugly LOL!

Offering Coturnix eggs, atleast a doz

From a Jumbo Brown hen, and a tibetan hen (she's a rosetta), the roo is a mismarked tuxedo.

I hatched the eggs from the jumbo brown hen, from her first few ever layed, so some didn't hatch, however I got a gorgeous nicely marked tuxedo, and a tibetan. The jumbo brown hen carries the A & M gene and that's why the tuxedo was expressed

.

I have eggs from the rosetta hen and tuxedo roo in the bator now and they're looking good

.

Right now I have two in the collection with 2 due tonight

I can mail out on monday if anyone decides to take them here soon

. I ship out UPS.
