The last time I went to a shelter to visit the dogs, I was weaping. I just can't stop myself when they smush their faces through the bars and cry. I feel like my heart is ripping in two.

We have a poodle mix named Captain!!! My boys wanted a super hero name and i wasn't agreeing to Spiderman....so we went with Captain America........Captain for short.

I wanted to name him Cuddles but that was a no go for a house full of boys.

Oh and my son is named Riley. I probably wouldn't like it if a family member named their dog Riley.....so it's nice you are reconsidering that.
