Name for this color of Amerucana?

He’s got old man whiskers sticking out where his muff and beard would be. They don’t photograph well but are easy to see in person.

I do not care if he is considered pure since I will mostly be using him for Olive egger chicks. He’s a great guy whatever he is. I mostly wanted to know the color name so I could figure what to expect when I cross him with my brown laying hens.

I would really consider him a white laced red then.

My Cornish male is on the right side, but you can see a few similarities

Looks like my white laced red Cornish male. He's not an ameraucana though

He is not a white laced red cronish his body shape is incorrect and he has blue legs. He is an EE.

He does have a beard and muff he is about 3 years old now so they are just whiskers that you see up close coming from his red old man face... All the females he has produced are either buff or lavender splash buff? The males end up looking just like him.View attachment 2681322View attachment 2681328the second picture is his son who I unfortunately lost to a hawk. As you can see he has very pronounced muffs. If the females he throws are a standard color is he still considered an Easter egger? I figured he was just a non standard color of Amerucana since he breeds true.

Plus he has blue legs.

Ahh, lol, no he's not. Body shape is exactly what is called for in the standard and his legs are not at all blue

I may be wrong abot his body shape but Im pretty sure his legs are blue if you check the picture.

So what is the best way to call these chickens if I sell them? Could I call them baby blue egger? I don’t really think Easter egger is accurate since this a local variety of bird that breeds pretty true.

Found a link to a website to a farm listing this Amerucana project. Obviously not an APA bird but it is a line someone put effort into and breeds to a type. Still not sure what to call the extra birds I may end up selling.
