My point was, it's a common, easy to replicate color, even though it's a mixed breed bird.

I have a rooster that color, too, and I know exactly how I got him....

I bred a New Hampshire with a Buff Orpington. Took that rooster offspring and bred to a barred Rock hen. Took the barred rooster offspring and bred him to a Welsummer hen and got Eric, my duckwing colored rooster....

Donrae, I had to write down your crosses to keep it straight so I could see how you got there. Makes sense now. If you two breed these roosters to some Welsummers you will get some males that will look like this.
