so I went to our county fair today and fell in love with this one laying hen nobody wanted, her comb is pretty big so its kind of floppy she is constantly shaking her head, hence the nickname glitchy chicken but she needs a real name, she is a cream legbar hen ill add a pic later if you have name suggestions please comment them we pick her up tomorrow and I want her to have a real name. (is it common for them to be sold for 25 dollars)

Congrats! I’d love to get Cream Legbars some day 😊
I actually really like the name Glitch- I may steal that one 😁
As for ideas, I usually like old-fashioned names and food names. Edna, Myrtle, and Taffy are a few of my personal favorites 😅

Good for you taking this girl! I like "special" critters, too.

I'm also a fan of old-fashioned names for chickens. My flock has or does include Beatrix, Ursula, Martha, Genevieve, Audrey and Dottie, and I've seriously considered Winifred for one, so I can call her Winnie.

However, since your girl is a Cream Legbar, I might play off the breed. Cookie -- for cookies and cream?

Or, something that's similar to her Glitch name -- like Glinda the Good, from the Wizard of Oz?

Whatever you call her, I think she's lucky to get you!
