Name that Breed! Please help me identify a few chicken breeds! TY!!!

He does have some smaller more pointed saddle feathers - they aren't as rounded as our others. I thought he'd crow by now if he were a rooster? I hope he's not- we can't have "nuisance birds" and roosters are considered that because of the crowing!
it can take some roosters a while to crow, if the hens are not laying yet it's probably early to hear crows (though it does seem to vary by bird and by breed)

How old are your birds? I'm guessing they're 5ish months? The chocolate looks like she should be laying, or very soon. The lavender doesn't look quite mature enough to lay. And nope, that pretty Wyandotte won't ever lay an egg, sorry. He'll be beautiful, but he will crow and sounds like your neighbors won't appreciate that.

I agree the Orps are nice quality birds. So many of the newer or project colors we see here don't really look like the breed, they've sacrificed shape for color. But your birds are easily identified as Orpingtons.

We swapped rooster today for a blue laced red wyendotte that WILL eventually lay eggs!! :) the chocolate just started laying- unfortunately she is sick. It's been several days and she just stands with her eyes closed and wouldn't move- we eventually figured out her eyes were crusted shut- we gave her a shot of antibiotics and treated her eyes- I just hope she makes it! :(
