I have a Bobcat running around here let me post a pic, her feathers were pulled out as you said, does this look anything like it? This was my hen I got 2 feet close to the bobcat when I had to chase it around the yard

I don't mean to alarm you, but it sounds to me like El Chupacabra.....

In all seriousness, I am sorry for the loss and hope there is no more. I think the other posts are on the right track. To me it sounds like something either not fast and/or strong enough to kill the chickens, but maim or mortally wound them.
