Name that sex!

It's looking more and more like I was advised a wrong breed (maybe even an incorrect age) when I thought I was purchasing 4 Silver Laced Wyandotte's. They are actually 4 Barred Rocks. The same batch those possible BR roo's came from. So, in total its looking like I have a mixture of 8 Light & Dark Barred Rocks, 2 Rhode Island Reds & 2 Silkies. Here is a picture of those possible roo's again since they still could be pullets. You asked how old they were, I purchased all of my chicks on May 20th from two different area feed stores. They all looked to be about the same size except a select few which were a bit larger.

Yes, those are definitely not Wyandottes in any way.

To sex your Barred Rocks, look at color. The darker birds will be female and the lighter birds are male.
