Roosters are so worth it! Honestly, I love it when my boys crow, it's a really beautiful sound!

I dont mind it. Til it's 1 am and he is singing. Then 2am. Then 3am. My rooster doesn't even crow bc this guy is such a little boss rooster. Lol.

Mine too! Especially Fizz Bang, he's my only rooster (the others are still cockerels) he crows all the time, 4am to 10:30pm through the summer. Now I have 6 cockerels crowing too, it's quite the symphony!

Four of them are not crowing yet. They still need to mature more. Those four are two Ameraucana cockerels and three English Orpingtons.

Mine was an accidental rooster. Bought as a Sapphire Gem pullets.
He gets to stay as long as he's not a jerk. So far so good. He is 8 months old now.

I have 26 maybe 27 Roosters/Cockerels.

Ameraucana: 1 blue, 2 lavender and 1 black.

Spitzhauben: 2 silver and 3 gold

Phoenix: 3 golden, 2 silver and 1 cream silver

English Orpingtons: 3 silver laced

Mixed Ameraucana/Phoenix: 1 black and cream gold

Bantams

Cochin: 1 silver laced, 1 gold laced, 1 blue, 1 splash. One I'm not sure on is the partridge looking one.

D'Uccels: 1

EE: 1 blue gold

Sebright: 1 gold

They used to crow when I got up @ 3am. They don't do that as much now. I don't start hearing them till 5am or if something alerts them like the roosters over a mile away crowing.

I have to agree! I don’t think I would ever not want a rooster.
It is a really beautiful sound! It always makes me smile and feel happy.
I enjoy listening to all their different voices, they each have their own unique crow!

They really do. My neighbors rooster has like a slight warble to it, and when the street over's rooster crows? He sounds like a girl lol. High pitched crow.

No! At night lol. During the day it's normal rooster crowing all day. At night? He's broken. I have to open my door and tell him to hush and get some beauty sleep. My neighbor needs to talk to their rooster about his sleep talking.
