I left mine in there, even though I knew all too well nothing was in them. I though to myself, "maybe they'll grow later". Nope, they were not alive and were not going to grow. They were stink bombs through and through
I imagine that'd be a good gift for someone you hate. Just leave it under their floorboard or something lol.

I just cleared the last of the maybes from my Halloween hatch. Still need to check the late arrivals that are in the nr360 tomorrow and clear out the maybes in that on.
When I candle each day, bc I am nosey and can't help it, do I just keep an eye on if they are getting bigger and it gets darker in there?

Yes. My maybes became blood rings because the stopped development. Everything else is getting dark enough to start obscuring veins.

I had a twin egg in my last hatch I did that would have done that if I hadn’t caught the smell early aka being a daily candler who can’t leave the eggs alone :lau:gig
I can't leave mine alone either. I said I wouldn't candle today. I lied. I checked on every egg from batch 1. :pop

You are not only looking for growth but the air cell needs to be large enough for internal pipping but not so large it squeezes out their growth. Here is a good chart...

Nice mine are on track. We at the 14th day and that's about where the air cell is.

These are two pics of one of the eggo's bottom. Is it normal to be light like that on one side? The bubble at the top (bottom of the egg) is the air sac right?
