Name the eggs! Choose your baby to root for!

They keep buying roosters and turn them out? What's their deal?
You should see their dogs :( Not malnourished to be taken away but def on the skinny side. And the feral cats are their fault for a few years ago letting their cat out to roam and it got knocked up, had kittens, and died. This is all by their mouth. Idk how much is true about that.

They make me sad animal wise.

Yeah, he has cross beak.

On a different note I know what got my Orpington. Hawk, when I was out getting the last of the girls in the pens, two big hawks flew low over the back of my yard. Also after getting everyone put up I find I'm missing two more hens. A black Ameraucana and one my my crested Spitzhauben/Ameraucana crosses.

Suffice to say no more free ranging for the winter unless I'm here and sitting out side with them. That means I have to have them cooped up for a few weeks till they will come back to it and not the trees. Sigh. I hate having them cooped up.

Terrible people. Pets can't take care of them selves. If they could they wouldn't be pets. (or live stock)

And Jolene? 🙂
I found Jolene!

Very true. I can feed their chicken and semi house cat (she hunts and lives outside mostly, but they say she comes inside....) but their dogs are inside dogs. They have 4 big hunting dog mixes. Sweet as hell too.

At least you found out what was getting your babies. Any way to put up hawk deterrents? Would a fake owl or something like that help?

Must now learn ho these roosters are!!

Please tell us more.
How old? Mine is a baby still. He is 8 months old and is an Australorp. He's the black one. The one who isn't mine is suspected to be almost 2 years old? I looked up his breed bc I never seen a rooster comb like that. My app said he was a Derbyshire Redcap?
