Romeo and Juliet

FIrst someone gave my husband two white ducks. Then someone said he needed a male and we added another white duck. Then someone stopped by the house and left us with 4 ducks (I think they are young). Since I am currently incubating chicks, I was not expecting my husband to bring in ducks. I am trying to learn about ducks, but am sadly lacking. If anyone knows about the breeds, I would greatly appreciate it. Love the "crests" in the newest male and female. Thank you so much!!
Nibbler and Quaker

the not named duck is a magpie...sorry, i am not the greatest at picking names! She may be mixed with something else, as she has too much black, but she may just be a bad rep of the breed. Someone who is more experience with this breed jump in here if i am wrong.

Romeo and Juliet look like female rouens, or if they are much smaller than the others mallards, but they don't look smaller.

Nibbler and Quaker are pekins, far one is a female and front one is a male. Hope this helped!

Romeo definitely looks like a female Rouen to me, but I'm wondering if Juliet isn't a crested Mallard?

The way Juliet stands with such tall posture on those rather small feet suggests Mallard to me. The bill is much closer to the head, and the head has a rather narrow look compared to Romeo's fuller, thicker neck.

It would be interesting to see what other people have to say regarding this matter.

hey, you might be right...looking closer, she does look like a mallard. In the pic where they are together, she looks smaller.

Shows smaller size of Juliet

Two are crested

I will try to get some better pictures. THANK YOU!!
