Name two common foods your chickens won’t eat.

My wonderfully (albeit stupid) girls and one guy refuse to eat sunflower seeds and strawberries.

They would literally clean a carcass if allowed. They prefer a mud puddle over fresh water provided in several locations. But for some reason strawberries and sunflower seeds are poison.

Mine wont eat green beans or broccoli. I’m surprised yours don’t like sunflower seeds!

Lettuce and dark green zucchini (they'll unenthusiastically eat grey zucchini and summer squash). Almost everyone on here has birds that love lettuce, mine poop on it and walk away in disappointment.

Conversely mine love strawberries so much that I toss out the tops to them and they're super happy with even that much.

Nothing comes to mind with this bunch, but I used to have some who didn't like black soldier fly larvae. Only one of that bunch would even eat them (albeit unenthusiastically), the other 3 turn their beaks up and walk away

So far mine will eat ANYTHING. I have to be careful because they'll eat whatever they see that looks different-even non food items. Thankfully when they find something they shouldn't have they are really obvious about it. They start making whining noises with it in their beak and running around as if someone will take it from them (even if no one is paying attention). That behavior will attract attention from the ground and a parade starts. Usually provides enough chaos for me to step in and grab it. Crazy chickens.

Yeah, they will literally peck all around them. Completely insulted that those vile things are touching their food. Every dang last one of them. I tried saffleflower also and they turned their beaks up on those as well. On the other hand they love green beans, I just picked a bushel in the garden and gave them the snappings before I froze them. They were ecstatic.
