Hey BYCers! I'm getting my first ducklings soon and I'm thinking of names. I thought it'd be fun to ask ya'll's opinion! So here's what I got so far (feel free to add to the list!):

-Ping
-Ducky (in honor of the dinosaur from the Land Before Time =P)
-Count Quackula (Ok I'm mostly kidding here)

Except the rare times when I'm totally bent on a name ahead of time, I wait until I get an animal to see what their personality suggests they be named. Still, I get nabbed when girls turn out to be boys or vice-versa. When you have gender neutral names, like Pat, so much the better. I name most of my animals people names, so I've about run out of those.

Sometimes they get indiviual names- or I go with themes...like what I can see on the kitchen bench. Characters from a movie- my daughter names some after her favourite band members.
I guess after so many years we have had over 300 named ducks...So its getting harder to think of "people names" we havent used. Sometimes we used to write names on the eggs- and if they hatched that was the name they had.
