Names????

Quote:
Me too! I've named mine Marilla (RIP), Buffy, Tilly, Nellie, Olive, Hattie, Helen, Edna, and Nan. I love the vintage lady names.

I have seven.
Big Nasty is the rooster of unknown lineage. We wanted a big nasty rooster to defend the girls. I hope he never has to live up to his name. He's certainly big, but don't know yet how nasty he can be.
Carmella and Janice Soprano are the EEs, so named because they can be bullies and hang together constantly. Big Nasty tends to hang with them. Carm is his main squeeze. I guess the roo could have also been called Tony. Janice is sitting on two eggs. Carm visits her daily and gives her a new egg, which we steal.
WCB Polish is Michael Jackson. I have no idea why the name popped into my head the minute I saw her, but it stuck.
RoRo is our buff orpington, named after the nickname given to my red headed niece by her cousin.
Olivia is our barred rock, named after my other niece (the cousin).
Crystallina is my black cochin, named after an asian friend who asked that one be named after her. Seemed like the right fit.

My friends think I'm nuts. I'm starting to believe them.

Don't know if anybody's heard of The Kids in the Hall, a Canadian comedy troupe from the '80s. One of their characters was the Chicken Lady. Worth a look if you can find it on YouTube.

I have 10 RIR's, haven't named them they look took much alike to tell them apart. I have a pair of blue silkies, roo is Adonis, and hen is pretty girl, just hatched out some of their babies, one is Happy Feet, and one is Blacky.
