Naming a rooster

What kind of rooster is yours? I love hearing about the good roosters!
And yeah I think we're going to be keeping him; it wasn't really the idea but ever since he hatched he was just so handsome, and well he did get a little naughty when he was a teenager, he's so polite and watchful now.
Although I'm not sure he's brave enough to be really useful!
Ah yes, those awkward teenage roosters! Mine is a booted d'uccle bantam who weighs about 2lbs total. When he was a teen, he overcompensated for what he lacked in stature by chasing my husband away from his golf bag. I guess bravery is not relative to size! 🤣

So we don't normally name our chickens; if they get a name at all its something like Orp1.(she's the first Orpington that started laying)
However we've got a second rooster now and it's starting to get confusing!
Anyone think of any names?
He's a Light Sussex x Cuckoo Orpington, and a very good boy, rather large (as in the biggest of all our chickens) and just getting the hang of looking after his hens.
I personally think he looks like a George (his neck feather area reminds me of the wigs the British wore in the colonial era, but his regal looks (beautiful waddles and comb) remind me of George Washington...that's my two cents...most of our roosters seem to have guylike names, we have ROSCOE, REAGAN, NATHANIEL (jr), PJ, SAMMY, we had a HENRY but then we have weird ones too (Crooksy (he's scissor beaked), Swishy (jr), Specky (jr)-named when they were babies, Puffy, Omlet, Nacho, Cochin Buddy, Red, Onyx, we once had a Boss Hogg (and different Roscoe), Oliver.

Interestingly they all seem to fit them. He's beautiful by the way, I'm sure the ladies love him.

I like George, I might try it and see if it fits.

Oh my, how many have you got?
I love Swishy!

Thank you, they to now (I think! ) but it took them a will to be convinced!
