Naming chickens

I am already thinking of possible names for the chicks I’m picking up this week. So my question is, do you name your chickens? How do you decide on names? If you have multiple of the same breed, how do you tell them apart?

I have Easter Eggers and they all have names. They all look a little different in some way even if the feather pattern is almost identical, something is a little different.

My chickens are pets, so they all have names. I give them names based on what they look like, their breed, their personality, or sometimes it's just a random name that seems to suit them.
I can easily tell my chickens apart, even those that look identical to other people. They just look different to me.

Mine do but I had their names picked out as I was driving home with them and the oldest ones are 9 years old. I enjoy my coffee with them in the morning and I talk to them, and use their names. The young ones catch on quickly.

All have names. Always named after food (there are exceptions.)
Like:
McGriddle
MoonPie
Licorice
Queso
Gravy

Stuff Like that. I can tell them apart by the tiniest things usually sometimes I can’t, I just don’t give them actual names until they are older and I can tell them apart.

Yes, all of them have names. .....

And the name is Chicken. Easy to remember, they all know their name, never call one by the wrong name, and when I call "Here Chickens" they all come running. Easy.

Mine have names, but I mostly name them after food as a reminder of their ultimate purpose.

The Marans are French chicken dishes, the Dominiques are Boar's Head chicken lunchmeats (I'm a deli clerk), the Langshans were going to all be Chinese food but one is En Croute because he had pasty butt as a chick ...
