Naming links?

How do I name links like some people have in thier signature? I used to know how to when there used to be a button for it.

Are you asking how to link text to a URL in the rich text editor and your sig line?

1. Write out your text in the reply window or your sig editor
2. Highlight the text you want to link
3. Click the icon with the world and a chain link in front of it
4. You'll get a popup asking for the URL, put a url in there.
5. Submit

You get this: a link to BYC

I wasn't highlighting text before clicking on the link when I was editing my signature on my profile page.
