Naming mallards

Ok soni need a little help. I've named the two pekin ducks we have because I can tell them apart BUT we have 12 mallards pretty sure it's impossible to tell them apart. People with that many how do you tell them apart. Our pekins names are puddles and quacker

Like my chickens. We have tiny little wire ties, plastic bands. I don't use the pinkish or red. The colors will tell them apart. But just keep an eye on the tightness like you would a dog collar.
