Yay! I still haven't found any local organizations that organize shows that would be interested in mine, lol. Oh well I have a rosecomb roo that has a very bad attitude anyway. I've already had to punt him three times over the last 2 months.

Broody Hen I is still plugging along, she's been sitting since last Saturday. Broody Hen II started sitting Tuesday, and gave up today with *9* eggs under her. She sat for 3.5 days and just hopped off the nest today while I was down there watching them. She never went back to it. I candled the eggs, only 1 had any signs of development, but I think she started out with that egg (along with the two ceramic eggs I keep in the boxes) and the others she had been stealing as they were laid. It was so disgusting to have to throw out those 9 eggs. Broody I has 10 under her and I just didn't have the heart to try to squeeze in any more, lol.

Hello everyone!
I recently got a Nankin pullet and hope to post pictures soon.
Her name is Ruby Tuesday, and she is about 8 months old :/
So far, I absolutely love her personality. She loves to perch on my arm while I walk around and she flies REALLY well. What a surprise. :/

I got mine from a breeder at a show. She had tons of 8 month old cockerels and pullets for sale. 2 cages full along with some roosters and hens entered in the show.

Oh I forgot to mention she is a rose comb.

Very nice. Pity you live so far away I have SEVERAL rose comb roos that I'm trying to find a new home for, just don't like them as much as the SC's
