I have been watching NASCAR since even before it was popular. There are some new things happening there that I dont like (toyota) but it is still the greatest sport on the planet.
I was a Lake Speed fan forever and in fact I have an autographed postcard from him that I talked his son into getting for me through email conversations
I have followed Tony Stewart ever since his entry into NASCAR and that is my driver.
B. Saffles Farms :
What a race. WOW. I loved it. Yeah MC Carl took it like a man, I give him a thumbs up for that.
Yep, Mr Edwards has always been that way as far as I can tell. You have to love his move at the finish line. That was class. I would not be suprised if he didnt have to visit the big red truck though for not staying near the car to be picked up by the EMT's
B. Saffles Farms :
I belive Im talking to myselpf but oh well, Congratulations to Brad Kelsolowski
. What a great finish.
That boy did his job the absolute best he could. It was a well deserved win, I feel there is no controversy.

Not on this thread , we dont allow "chicken" aka Kyle Busch talk on this thread. LOL.
mjdtexan, I like Stewart too. I miss the old days of nascar, when it was really about racing and not politics, and money.
Me too, and Newman actually had a shot to win today.
Yes, Newman had a shot today. Is it just me or does it seem as if the Stewart/Haas cars are just a tad bit under powered? Both cars have first class drivers, one is doing well but something is missing and all I can pin it on is the car. The chemistry seems to be there in the teams, Tony is buying first class equipment but something is just a tad bid amiss.
Another thing I've been wondering about. This morning on FOX news they were discussing Chrysler and GM (now known as government motors). They were saying that Chrysler is probably going to fail. GM is probably going to file for protection. Pontiac will actually disapear Monday (tomorrow).
What will NASCAR look like if Chrysler is gone. Will those teams have the guts to stay with an American car or will they sell out and race the Toyota?
Will Chevrolets involvement with NASCAR look different or dissapear when GM files for protection?
We always have tickets for the fall race and set just down from the entrance to pit row. After seeing how close Carl came to going over the safety fence I think I'll see if I cant move up about 30 rows.
Yeah I think they will figure it out before long and be a top team. I hope chevy dont leave Nascar. I hope the Chrysler teams dont sell out for Toyotas, but Im afraid several of them will.
