I did. Ate one for breakfast this morning. It was fine.

Was that color on the inside of the shell?

I've had this happen randomly, although just one here and there. No idea what causes it for my flock. I sell eggs, so usually toss the offender since I can never wash it off.

FYI EVERYONE- I just found a previous post on BYC of the same issue. Cause given was the watermelon they were fed. I guess there is a 1st time for every thing

Watermelon? How weird, I never would've suspected that. Makes me want to feed my girls more melon just to see if it happens lol

That's what i was going to suggest.....when I've fed watermelon flesh, that blue color was prevalent in the poops, never had it on an egg tho.
