Blue/Green Stain on Egg Shell

We've been giving the girls a bunch of produce lately, so I suspect this is from something they ate. One of my hens laid a blue/green stained egg this afternoon. There is nothing in the nesting box, run, or coop that would obviously cause this color. Additionally, everyone looks fine and I don't see any obvious issues. Any ideas?

Looks like watermelon poop.
Will never forget the first time I gave my birds watermelon,
juicy bluish purple poops everywhere!
Now I only give them the rinds, red part is for me!

Oh, and....Welcome to BYC!
"I escaped Metro Detroit" used to be my motto, been 40 years tho.

Oh. My. God. Duh! :bow

Its been hotter than blazes and I gave them watermelon yesterday to help cool them down and get some electrolytes in them!

Thanks for the help and thanks for the welcome! ...and congrats on the escape!

Watermelon has electrolytes?
I just use Sav-A-Chick electrolytes/vitamins.
1 teaspoon in half gallon water very few days during heat waves.
We've got one starting up today...UGH.

Yes! Watermelon is rich in electrolytes! Plus, they are 92% water--a great way to get electrolytes and hydration into your birds on hot days!

See this article for all the electrolytes present in watermelon:
