I can't believe I haven't shared any photos here before.

This is from today. One of our cats caught this Western Kingbird chick; I rescued it before it was harmed. I took a few photos before bringing it back to its parents.

A nice lush mound of Bazzania Trilobata, a species of liverwort, with a nice array of mushrooms. Unsure on species

This unfortunate caterpillar, still alive, clinging to moss as Cordyceps takes over and erupts from it.
