Just skimmed back through this thread and realized I never posted the final edit of my April 8th eclipse pics.

That was my first ever total eclipse. After viewing it, I fully understand why people travel across the world to see them. There's no comparison between veiwing a partial eclipse and seeing totality.

This is a composite image of multiple phases of the eclipse, and my final edit. Getting this image is pretty much the entire reason I went, so I'm glad it worked out.

Here's a different version in a more square composition. It's alright but my favorite is the previous.

Here's an HDR image of totality.

This is called the diamond ring.

And this one shows the solar prominence.

Yeah, currently G3. It's scheduled G4 for tomorrow, but I'm not sure if that means 2am tomorrow morning or 10pm tomorrow night.

Nice pics. Looks pretty strong. Showing G4 now. I guess I'll be staying up late tonight hoping it makes its way down to south AL
