So, I thought I'd post my experience with Nature's Hatchery. I ordered 14 call ducklings and had several color preferences. I thought their customer service was great.
The only thing I can complain about was that the first time they sent me just two calls because they didn't have enough to fill orders. They sent them express, but I figured they'd be gone by the time they got here.
Later, they figured out that the babies were too fragile for that. I got 12 juvenile calls in the mail a few days ago, one of which was dead. It was all greys, except for one black bibbed and three butters(one of which was dead). It does look like they gave me a good drake/hen ratio.
Apparently, there was a mix up with how many I should be getting, but they said they'll either credit me for three or re-ship. Color preferences, for the most part, were'nt met, but I think they did their best, and I did get a few. Customer service (Spencer) was always a pleasure. They actually look like decent quality. Their bills aren't really short, but not overly long either. We'll see how they turn out.
