How do I stop them from kicking out all their food from the feeder?

Hang the feeder? Mine is about 6 inches View attachment 1426079 off the ground and they don't kick the feed out. I do have a bowl of feed for my duck and that is constantly getting knocked over, but it's the only solution for now cuz he has a hard time getting feed out of the chicken feeder.

Most feeders can be hung up from off the floor....
I do not hang mine, so it is an endless battle!!!

My feeder hangs about 3 inches off the ground (my chicks are pretty short yet). Maybe once they are tall enough and I can raise it a few inches then I won't have this problem.

Before I got the type of feeder in the link I posted, I had trouble with the adult hens flicking the feed out of feeders (even the ones hung up). They liked tossing it on the ground, those rascals.
