Hi everyone! I’m new to raising chickens myself but not new to chickens per say. I’m definitely still learning the ropes and every bit of info is like gold so I look forward to getting some useful info, tips and tricks from y’all! My current flock consists of: 1 New Hampshire Red Rooster, 2 American game hens (+2 chicks that one hatched last night ), 2 Silkie mix hens, 2 EE hens, 2 EE pullets, 2 Buff Orpington pullets, 2 Silver Spangled Hamburg straight run chicks, 1 OEG bantam straight run chick and 1 Frizzle Cochin bantam straight run chick My chickens are free range but roost in a coop (aside from my roo and 2 game hens... They were my first chickens that I acquired as adults and apparently they are already set in their ways about roosting in the trees). I also have a mouser/barn cat, who I think my rooster is actually in love with and a loyal property defender, my German Shepherd
