All 3 well behaved boys are last spring's hatchery chicks. One Americauna is a breathtaking slate blue and scarlett, the other Americauna reminds me of a calico cat coloration, and the Rhode Island Red is a very stately gentleman. All three get along and are in robust health. My city zoning does not permit me to keep them sadly.

Hello fellow Buckeye!
Have you posted in our state thread yet? If you haven’t then here’s the link for it, https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/ohio-come-on-buckeyes-let-me-know-your-out-there.12049/
Why? Don’t see much use for state threads- have never read them- use this site only for research and finding or rehoming birds. Do not need social network or “rah rah sis boom bah Ohio’s the best” chest beating. Work 2 jobs, plus egg business, no idle time.

I meant you could post on that thread to ask if anyone would want your birds

Recently I sold 3 unwanted boys and some pullets at a livestock auction. Found by using google. Pretty easy process. We ended up averaging $7 per bird, before commission, received this in cash, but if we didn’t stay, they would have mailed us a check.
Thanks, a good solution that had not occurred to me!
